CAMBADA (acronym of Cooperative Autonomous Mobile roBots with Advanced
Distributed Architecture) is the RoboCup middle-size league soccer team of
the University of Aveiro, Portugal. This project started officially in
October 2003.
The team has participated in several RoboCup competitions, namely, RoboCup2004,
RoboCup2006, DutchOpen2006, RoboCup2007,
RoboCup2008, RoboCup2009, GermanOpen 2010, RoboCup 2010 and in
the last seven editions of the Portuguese Robotics Open: Robotica2004,
Robotica2005, Robotica2006, Robotica2007, Robotica2008, Robotica2009 and Robotica2010. CAMBADA
middle-size robotic soccer team won the 1st place in the Portuguese Robotics
Open 2010, 2009, 2008 and 2007, ranked 5th in the RoboCup World Championship 2007, won
the RoboCup World Championship 2008, ranked 3rd in the RoboCup World
Championship 2009, 2nd in the RoboCup German Open 2010 and more recently placed 3rd in the RoboCup World Championship 2010.
CAMBADA ranked 3rd in the RoboCup 2010
The CAMBADA team achieved a top 3 position for the third consecutive year. It played a successful tournament
at the
RoboCup 2010 which has been held in Singapore from June 19th until June 25th 2010. Check our results here.
CAMBADA ranked 2nd in the GermanOpen 2010
The CAMBADA team played a successful tournament
at the
RoboCup German Open 2010 which has been held in Magdeburg -
Germany from April 15th to April 18th 2010. Check our results here.
CAMBADA became National Champions 2010
The CAMBADA team won its fourth consecutive National
tournament at
Robotica2010 which was held in Leiria, from March 25th to March 28th.
