Visiting Scholar: Ruedi Arnold (HSLU) at IEETA and Talk on AI and First-Year Programming (Oct 29)

During the week of October 27–31, 2025, Ruedi Arnold (https://ruedi-arnold.com/) from HSLU will visit IEETA. He is involved in HSLU’s Edu-I Lab, a departmental team and platform for innovation in teaching, and would like to share their experience and learn more about DETI’s Computer Science offering. Ruedi will be based at IEETA (first office when entering IEETA). If you are interested in meeting him, please contact ruedi.arnold@hslu.ch directly.

TALK: Omnipresent AI & Programming Teaching in the First Years @ HSLU.
Date: Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
Time: 15:00–17:00.
Place: IEETA amphitheater or meeting room (to be confirmed).

Ruedi will give a short presentation to jump-start further exchanges during and after the session. He will present results from recent Edu-I Lab surveys and lead a brief discussion on “exam formats in times of AI”.
