Last Friday, IEETA hosted the V Spring Meeting of APRP. This event sponsored by the Portuguese Association on Pattern Recognition (APRP) brings together the community to discuss the current advances and challenges in data science research.
David Semedo, from NOVA School of Science and Technology, delivered an amazing presentation about AMALIA: An Open Source Large Language Model for European Portuguese.
Mariana Mourão, the awardee of the 2025 APRP MSc Dissertation Award presented her research work on Multi-scale Attention-based Multiple Instance Learning for Breast Lesion Detection.
