This week, IEETA welcomed Professor Barry Nuqoba from Universitas Airlangga (Indonesia) under ICM Mobility program.

Professor Nuqoba is a lecturer and researcher in Computer Science focusing on data science, machine learning, and causal analysis, applied to ageing, health, and social well-being.

Hosted by Professor António Neves, Professor Nuqoba delivered a seminar talk on “Modeling and Simulation of Social Systems: Causal Discovery and Inference on Life Panel Data”. It was a great opportunity to discuss causal discovery applied to social systems.
