New Details

Two former and 9 actual students from the MSc in CyberSecurity at the University of Aveiro – including three IEETA student researchers – and one student from the BSc Informatics Engineering  participated in the xSTF Capture The Flag (CTF) competition held at FEUP. CTF events like xSTF challenge participants in areas such as cryptography, reverse engineering and network security, offering valuable hands-on experience in cybersecurity.

Our students formed three teams and secured the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place in the competition. Gonçalo Ferreira, Tomás Matos and Diogo Almeida, all MSc students and scholars under WP5.2 (Electronic Bill of Lading) of the Nexus Research Project – Digital Transformation, stood out for their strong performance and teamwork.
