As part of the University of Aveiro’s 50th-anniversary celebrations, a thought-provoking event focused on Women in Technology was held, organized by Geek Girls Portugal in collaboration with the University. Susana Brás, a researcher from IEETA, had the honor of moderating the discussion, which featured a diverse panel of five women from various backgrounds and career paths in the technology sector.

The panelists shared their unique perspectives and experiences, emphasizing the importance of addressing biases and stereotypes in technology from an early stage.
