IEETA will host the 31st edition of the Portuguese Conference on Pattern Recognition (RECPAD 2025), on October 31st, 2025, at the University of Aveiro.
Promoted by the Portuguese Association for Pattern Recognition (APRP), this national conference aims to bring together researchers, students, and professionals from across the country to share the latest developments in pattern recognition, image analysis, soft computing, and related fields. Topics will include biometrics, deep learning, data mining, neural networks, natural language processing, gesture recognition, sensor fusion, and innovative applications.
The event will feature oral presentations, poster sessions, and networking moments. Highlights include keynote talks by Armando Pinho (University of Aveiro) and Mihaela van der Schaar (University of Cambridge), both internationally renowned experts in their fields.
The conference will conclude with the presentation of the Best Poster, Best Paper, and the APRP Master Thesis Award.
