Bio-radar system – as a remote device for biomarkers evaluation and definition

by Susana Brás,  0 Comments

We are pleased to announce an upcoming seminar titled “Bio-radar system – as a remote device for biomarkers evaluation and definition.” The seminar will shed light on the innovative Bio-Radar system, which enables the remote measurement of vital signs, such as respiratory and cardiac signals, using electromagnetic waves.

Unlike traditional methods that require physical contact with the subject, the Bio-Radar system offers the capability to monitor individuals for extended periods without intruding upon their daily routines. This non-intrusive approach allows for objective assessments of their psychophysiological condition using a realistic setup configuration.

During the seminar, we will explore the wide range of applications where this technology can be utilized and delve into its performance when applied to real-world scenarios. We will discuss the limitations and potentials of the bio-radar system, showcasing the progress made thus far and envisioning how the data extracted from radar measurements can benefit the community.

This insightful seminar will take place at the IEETA auditorium on June 6th, 2023, at 4 pm. We invite researchers, professionals, and anyone interested in the intersection of remote vital sign monitoring and biomarkers evaluation to join us for this engaging session. Discover the possibilities and advancements in bio-radar technology that have the potential to revolutionize healthcare and beyond.
