The Institute of Electronic and Informatics Engineering of Aveiro (IEETA) will host the fourth Spring Meeting of the Portuguese Association for Pattern Recognition (APRP) on March 14 at 2:30 pm. This event serves as a platform for fostering dialogue and discussion on the current advances and challenges in data science research, spanning both academic and business perspectives.
Eduardo Castro from LTPlabs is our guest speaker from the business setting and, he will go into detail about thee practical applications and challenges in developing multi-agent generative artificial intelligence systems in the business setting. From the academia, we will have the participation of João Pereira, a PhD student at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, bringing to us a presentation on the role of large vision-language models in surveillance video understanding.
