Completed Project

EES dataLab: Spatiotemporal data models and algorithms for Environmental sciences

Acronym

EES dataLab

Synopsis / Objectives

This is an exploratory project focusing on the development of models and tools for managing and processing spatiotemporal data. The focus is on modeling 2D and 3D geometries that can change position, shape and size continuously over time. The aim is to be able to model events like the spread of forest fires (2D) and the evolution of coral reefs (3D).
