PhD Student Seminar

On the 28th of October another session of the PhD Student Seminar took place at IEETA. This edition featured three students, Rodrigo Alves, Bruna Alves, and Manuel Gomes, at different moments in their PhD journey: beginning, middle and approaching the end.

Each presentation covered a different topic, spanning from anomaly detection in time series analysis, to the proposal of a new representation for the segmentation of articulated objects, and to the usage of topological analysis tools to detect abrupt changes in financial time series.
