J. Artur Serrano


I am a lecturer in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Aveiro in Portugal.

My main research interests lie on process re-engineering, systems analysis and specification and user interaction, mainly covering the area of Health and Wellbeing.

I am a member of the Portuguese research institute IEETA. I have been involved in the following European Union projects:

I've been a guest professor at NST - Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine where I cooperated in the area of Internet Based Personal Health Information (IPHI)

I'm collaborating with Mr. Ray Welland and Mr. Phillip Gray from the Computing Science Department of Glasgow University in the DECS Project
