This project aims the development of a microchip, requiring no external components, that implements the most important functions of an ECG system. Very low-power, low voltage integrated circuit design strategies reduce the power supply needs to a level where only a small (and light) battery is necessary while maintaining a good autonomy. Both reduced volume and weight ease a possible implantation of the overall system in the patient's body.
