Mission On the 1st October 1999, the Institute of Electronics and Telematics
Engineering of Aveiro (IEETA) was established in Aveiro
(Portugal). It is a private non-profit-making
scientific association made up of the University
of Aveiro, the Fundação
João Jacinto de Magalhães and the GrupUnave.
Within IEETA, is the Research Unit 127/94, approved by the Portuguese
Ministry of Science and Technology, which
was formerly INESC - Pólo da Universidade de Aveiro. Internal Organization The Institute is organized in 4 Laboratories
mapping the major scientific areas of activity of its researchers. A PhD
researcher, the Lab-Coordinator, which is chosen by the researchers belonging
to the Lab, coordinates each Lab.
